Policy Change: On-boarding New Employees

In light of the increasing demands on our Technology Resources (TRecs) staff and computer equipment order timeframes, we are implementing a new policy regarding the onboarding of new employees who require new equipment.

Effective immediately, we kindly request that all New Employee Onboarding Requests that involve the provisioning of new equipment be submitted with a minimum of 10 business days' notice before the employee's intended start date. This will help us ensure a smoother onboarding process and allow us to better allocate our resources efficiently.

Furthermore, please be aware that we will no longer be able to provide loaner equipment for new employees if their equipment request is submitted with less than 5 business days remaining before their start date. This change is necessary to ensure that our TRecs team can focus on the timely delivery and setup of permanent equipment.

We understand that there may be exceptional circumstances where this timeline cannot be met, and in such cases, we encourage you to reach out to your local desktop support team to discuss potential solutions on a case-by-case basis.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to improve our onboarding processes and provide the best support to our clients and your new employees.
